webMethods Knowlegebase : Mediator support with Streaming Attachments (1782128)

Troubleshooting

Problem

When the Service consumer invokes Mediator with a large file attachment, does Mediator load the entire document into Mediator(memory) and then call the Native Service?

Is there a way with the Mediator configuration that would allow the service consumer request to directly stream to the Service Provider without fully loading document attachment in Mediator Memory?

We do not want the Mediator system to run out memory when handling huge documents.

Does Mediator support Streaming Attachments in both SOAP Based & restful services?

What configuration do we need to have on Mediator to support this?
