webMethods Knowlegebase : Exception java.text.ParseException: Unparseable date: (1791330)

Problem

Using the Text Output Control to display the Date Value.

The Date Value doesn’t have time portion included in it.

For e.g., Value is 08/19/2017

The Conversion property -> Converter -> Formatted Date Time is set with Default values [Time Displayed set to ]

This setting works good in MWS v9.7.

In v9.12 it throws the following exception while rendering the portlet:

Able to resolve the exception by setting Time Displayed as false for the Formatted Date Time.

Is there a change in MWS that validates whether Time Value is included?
