IBM Support

webMethods Knowlegebase : Receiving 2035 Not authorized on enabling a connection (1801919)

Troubleshooting

Problem

Running IS v10.5 with the latest support patches connecting to a MQ Series v 9.1 qmgr.

Have a listener defined

Have a svrconn channel defined with mcauser set to mqm.

This is the user running mqSeries.

Have the authinfo (SYSTEM.DEFAULT.AUTHINFO.IDPWOS) chcklocl and chckclnt set to none. So no secondary ids need to be passed.... in theory.

But continually get the 2035 on enabling the connection as shown below:

"Error 2035 MQRC_NOT_AUTHORIZED connecting to Websphere."

The 2035 means that the connection made it to the listener, found a channel, but the user is not authorized to connect.

In this case, it should not need the user information with chckclnt set to none.

Why do we get this error from MQ?
