webMethods Knowlegebase : Issue with webMethods Designer 10.1 Mobile Development (1794291)

Troubleshooting

Problem

Have the following issue with webMethods Designer 10.1 Mobile Development and the MDX Wrapping from Citrix.

Have the webMethods Designer 10.1 in a MacOS X machine, and it is fully configured to generate builds both for iOS and Android.

Can successfully generate builds for both platforms and can open/use them on the respective Emulators.

There is a problem with the application launcher icon not being shown correctly.

While generating the IPA or the APK, the platform is not getting the icon that is wanted and is just compiling with a default replace.

This is important for the next problem.

When trying to MDX Wrap the APK (have not tried to use the IPA) it fails.

Have the webMethods Designer 9.12 in the same machine, and can generate builds for iOS and Android and can also MDX Wrap them.

So tried with the exact same project both in webMethods Designer 10.1 and webMethods Designer 9.12, same Multi-Build settings, and could only MDX Wrap the build generated in webMethods Designer 9.12.

Also when opening the APKs in the Emulator, the one from webMethods Designer has the correct icon, and the one from webMethods Designer 10.1 does not have the correct icon.
