Troubleshooting
Problem
We've got an issue with the images when compiled with different versions of Xcode.
If we compile the app using Xcode 4 it looks good on all iOS versions (even iOS 7); however, if we compile the app with Xcode 5, the icons in the nav bar look very pale and almost don't stand out from the background. This occurs on iOS 7 devices only. iOS 6 devices still look as usual. This happens for the nav bar icons only. Icons displayed in the other views are fine.
To make things even more complicated it seems to depend on the device too. We've got one device with iOS 7 that looks acceptable even with an Xcode 5 build whereas two other (newer) devices look really bad.
We are using the same icons for all versions. We haven't found any indication that we should use different icons for iOS 7 / when compiling with Xcode 5. Please correct me if we missed something here.
We are wondering whether you have experienced this too and might know what the reason is. Is there any chance to control this via Xcode or MD?
