webMethods Knowlegebase : Local Service Development Preferences not modified correctly (1799473)

Troubleshooting

Problem

Local Service Development Preferences are not working correctly in Designer.

The checkbox "Automatically reload IS assets after VCS operations" always stays disabled/enabled - depending on the value of "Move project to Integration Server package as linked resource".

To recreate in Designer:

1. Navigate to Window > Preferences > Software AG > Service Development > Local Service Development

2. Uncheck "Automatically reload IS assets after VCS operations" & "Move project to Integration Server package as linked resource"

3. Click Apply and Close

4. Navigate to Window > Preferences > Software AG > Service Development > Local Service Development ---> Both settings are correctly unchecked.

5. Check "Automatically reload IS assets after VCS operations" & leave "Move project to Integration Server package as linked..." unchecked

6. Click Apply and Close

7. Navigate to Window > Preferences > Software AG > Service Development > Local Service Development ---> "Automatically reload IS assets after VCS operations" is wrongly still checked

8. The same happens if both setting are checked - they stay checked. If "Move project to Integration Server package as linked resource" is unchecked, on return to the dialog, both settings are unchecked.
