SECURITY_57 - Unable to login to SDC registered with Control Hub after Upgrade

Objective

This error message is observed when registering SDC (After upgrade/Fresh installation)with SCH on-premises.

  • By default, StreamSets Control Hub can work with registered Data Collectors from version 2.1.0.0 to the latest version of Control Hub.

  • To fix the issue, you need to increase the SDC version range in the SCH. (System administrator can customize it)

  • Follow below steps to configure maximum SDC version to be accepted for registration:

    1. Login to SCH as a system administrator.

    2. In Control Hub UI —> Administration —> Data Collectors

    3. Select Component Version Range (engine icon)

    4. Update the minimum and maximum Data Collectors version that can work with Control Hub.

  • The version range should be set greater than or equal to the version of StreamSets Data Collector you register.

  • For example: If your SDC version is 5.1.0, you need to specify the range maximum value to 5.1.0 or above.
