CONTROL_HUB_02 - Control Hub security token expired or invalid

Troubleshooting


Problem

This error can be caused when an incorrect Control Hub URL is specified in the Start Job stage, or when the specified API credentials are invalid.

Symptom

When attempting to validate or start a pipeline using one of the Start Jobs stages (origin or processor), the following error message is displayed: 

Error: [Start Jobs 1] Control Hub security token expired or invalid: 401 (CONTROL_HUB_02)

The Start Job stage has Authentication Type set to API Credentials.

Resolving The Problem

  1. For the Control Hub URL setting, specify the base URL that is displayed in the browser when logging into the Control Hub UI. This value depends on where the Control Hub instance is hosted. For example, this may be https://na01.hub.streamsets.com or https://eu01.hub.streamsets.com.

  2. Verify that the Auth ID and Password for the API Credentials have been entered correctly.
