Troubleshooting
Problem
When a user tries to bring Data items from an External Data Excel file into a report, the report fails with the following error message:
QE-DEF-0323 The DSN(ODBC)/ServiceName is invalid. Either the DSN is missing or the host is inaccessible.RQP-DEF-0068 Unable to connect to at least one database during a multi-database attach to 1 database(s) in: <Excel file name>
Note that http://www.ibm.com/xmlns/prod/cognos/reportService/202209/ is an XML namespace URL. There should not be requests to this URL.
