DESCRIPTION: IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty 18.0.0.2 through 24.0.0.4 is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by sending a specially crafted request. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause the server to consume memory resources. IBM X-Force ID: 284574.

Remediation/Fixes
This Security Bulletin applies to IBM Cloud Pak System, IBM Cloud Pak System Software, IBM Cloud Pak System Software Suite.
IBM Cloud Pak System provides WebSphere Application Server Liberty patternType (pType) with WebSphere Application Server Liberty v24.0.0.6.
IBM strongly recommends addressing the vulnerability now by applying the fix reported below.
For Intel, upgrade to minimum Fix Pack required Cloud Pak System v2.3.4.1,
