Error description

  • When the LDAP server connection remains idle for a long
    duration, the first request sent after this idle period times
    out in message flows containing the LDAPRequest node. However,
    subsequent requests are processed successfully without issues.

    USERS AFFECTED:
    All users of IBM App Connect Enterprise V12.0 and V13.0 using
    the LDAPRequest node.
    
    
    Platforms affected:
    LinuxZ64, AIX, LinuxX64, LinuxPPCLE64

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    When the LDAP server connection remains idle for a long
    duration, the first request sent after this idle period times
    out in message flows containing the LDAPRequest node. However,
    subsequent requests are processed successfully without issues.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The product has been modified such that requests no longer time
    out, even after the LDAP connection remains idle for an extended
    duration.
