IJ53687: SSPDB IS MISSING(SNAP SVCOLLECT IN PADMIN):PG_VERSION NOT EXIST

 

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In VIOS 4.1, collecting snap svCollect in padmin doesn't
collect SSP DB.

svCollect (dbCollect script) fails to check below file
and exit :
/var/vio/SSP/<CLusterName>/D_E_F_A_U_L_T_061310/VIOSCFG/D
B/PG/PG_VERSION not exist

Local fix

  • run snap svCollect or snap -ac from oem_setup_env

Problem summary

  • snap svCollect on VIOS 4.1 does not collect the SSP DB

Problem conclusion

  • Correct check of db type in snap scripts so that we correctly
collect the SSP DB if it exists.
