Abstract

This document lists APARs and Known Issues fixed in the Maximo Manage 9.1.x Feature Channel March Release. In addition to the new fixes listed here, all fixes from earlier Maximo Manage 9.1.x FC releases are included.

Manage and Mobile APAR and Known Issue Fixes

DT409074 Mobile In the Technician Mobile application, clicking the Location field, then tabbing out incorrectly displays the message "The specified location does not contain the current asset. Do you want to update the asset with the asset that is in this new location?".
DT409217 System Object Administrative users cannot set or edit non-primary email addresses or phone numbers associated with person records not related to a user/MAS User.
DT417985 Graphical Scheduling In Graphical Scheduling, changing work order start date using Move-to-Date option or Moving WO bar in Graphical View reduces the WO Duration.
DT418100 Mobile Creating and approving a Material Request does not create an Inventory Reservation.
DT418554 Mobile In the Inventory app, the Actual date and Transaction Date timestamp fields are populated incorrectly.
DT418982 Work Order Tracking In the Classifications application, adding add a new attribute of the data type DATE causes CLASSSPEC.SECTION, CLASSSPEC.LINEARTYPE and CLASSSPEC.CONTINUOUS to become read-only.
DT418987 Mobile Failure code generates invalid Problem/Cause/Remedy combinations.
DT419113 System Object Accessing the json schema for any asset-based reporting Object Structure causes a null pointer exception.
DT419611 Mobile Users cannot fully log out unless they delete browser data and cookies.
DT419640 System Object Creating new Interactions causes error "BMXAA4160E - A major exception has occurred. Check the system log to see if there are any companion errors logged. Report this error to your system administrator. null is encountered.".
DT420174 Service Level Agreements The SLA calculation does not account for shifts, causing the target dates to fall outside the defined shift.
DT420183 Mobile Loading the out-of-the-box Mobile 8.10 ifix 19 TECHMOBILE app code causes an “Unhandled Rejection” error in the MAF Configuration tool.
DT420222 Mobile When a user switches between Mobile applications, it does not retain the list filter options.
DT420230 UI Tabbing from a field with a lookup to a field that is Y/N does not validate the first field.
DT420249 Labor In Work Order Tracking, duplicating a Work Order does not populate Contract/Vendor details on the ASSIGNMENT and ACTUALS tabs.
DT420258 Work Order Tracking In Message Tracking, changing a parent Work Order with one or more child orders status to CLOSE triggers only one transaction.
DT420261 Mobile In the Issues and Transfers app, an Asset lookup pulls unnecessary attributes, causing performance problems.
DT420318 Linear Assets Clicking Clear Classification causes error "BMXAA5739E - The application service does not have a method which can be resolved to clearClassification.".
DT420368 UI In Application Designer, Numeric fields are not right-aligned adding a customization.

DT421371 UI In Application Designer, tab clicks lead to abnormal screen behavior, creating excessive white space in the Data Source section.
DT421455 Mobile New Classification attributes and domains do not appear in Asset Manager lookups.
DT421639 UI The Create File Attachment dialog contains references to UNC and the ability to copy a file. Those options are deprecated in Maximo Application Suite.
DT421675 UI Users granted access to the Technician Role-Based Application (only) can also access the Start Center.
DT421696 Configuration Tool The Maximo Application Framework (MAF) tool 9.0.6 fails to load the code editor page.

Behavioral Change

Database Change		 Data Sheets Attachments are duplicated in Work Orders generated from Preventive Maintenance, when Data Sheet Templates are revised.
DT421786 UI In Security Groups, selecting a Condition value brings up the Select Value dialog box. Both the Cancel and Continue buttons are primary.
DT421869 UI In some dialog boxes that have four buttons,  Cancel button is secondary while the other buttons are primary.
DT421915 Mobile On iOS mobile devices, when the MAS Server timezone is the same as the User profile timezone, and the Locale (or User’s default Information) is the same as the device timezone, Language and Region, date-time values display incorrectly.
DT422017 Assets In Assets, an image added to the rotating ITEM Master record is not added to Rotating Asset records.
DT422125 Invoices In the Invoices application, de-selecting the Pay Tax to Vendor option does not affect the Uninvoiced Total.
DT422130 Mobile Retrieving hour/cost estimates works more slowly than expected.
DT422287 Mobile In Asset details, clicking the chevron does not work.
DT422697 Mobile In the Inspection Forms application, users cannot delete the second Option for a new Single Choice question without closing the question and reopening it.
DT422723 Data Sheets In Work Order Tracking, removing a datasheet from Work Order also deletes attachments from the removed datasheet record.
DT423048 UI In Application Designer, dragging a table column from the Control palette to any tablebody causes the Table control to disappear.
DT423058 System Object Removing a SCIM user from all SCIM groups changes the user status to Inactive in MAS Core and MAS Manage. Adding the user to a new group changes user status to Active in MAS Core, but not in MAS Manage.
DT423066 Mobile In Mobile, modifying a field in a new Work Order causes the Asset field to become mandatory.
DT423409 Mobile Access an Inspection record from the Work Order record for the first time causes error "Form template selected is not on your device.".
DT423920 System Object The Message Tracking application does not log roll-back error messages.
IJ34740 Domains In the Domain application, the Save Domain button is available before changes are to made.
IJ45273 Integration The Rest API inventory init event does not utilize a shared MBO set.
IJ51419 Crontask set up The Cron Task Monitor cron task does not send emails as expected.
IJ51816 Linear Assets BIRT Linear Gaps and Overlap Explanation report displays incorrect data.

Note: Be aware, this channel subscription is supported for non-production use only. It allows early access to new features for evaluation is non-production environments. This subscription is offered alongside and in parallel with our normal maintained streams. When using this subscription, IBM Support will only accept cases for the latest available bundle deployed in a non-production environment. Severity must be either 3 or 4 and cases cannot be escalated. Please refer to IBM documentation for more details.
APAR Change instructions
1. Open Application Designer.
2. Filter for the Multisite application (MULTISITE), and open it.
3. Click Export Application Definition. Save the file as multisite.xml.
4. Open the multisite.xml file in a text editor
5. Search for the section

6. Add the following lines after section for maxvar3

8. Open Application Designer
9. Import the modified multisite.xml file

To get the response without a required section, add excluderequired=1 to the api. For example:

Previously, the records from API were handled through the refwo attribute only; now it can be handled by a combination of wonum and taskid (while creating/updating invuseline).
Now retains the format the user entered the data in (WO + TASK or REFWO) for the inventory usage line.
DT387441 If the maxvar (SLATIMEZONE) is enabled, the Work Order' Target Start Date is calculated based on the report date of the Work Order.
