  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: 1. The Capacity Planning z/OS - CPU &   *
  *                         Job Group reports do not allow for   *
  *                         reporting of a batch window that     *
  *                         crosses midnight.                    *
  *                      2. The checkbox parameters in the       *
  *                         Capacity Planning Db2 - Trend        *
  *                         reports are not sorted               *
  *                         alphabetically and the Show Top      *
  *                         filter applies to a single           *
  *                         time interval rather than the date   *
  *                         range.                               *
  *                      3. The Capacity Planning z/OS - Channel *
  *                         Peak Busy report does not display    *
  *                         data for channels with a maximum     *
  *                         peak busy value of zero.             *
  *                      4. The suite of Key Performance Metrics *
  *                         for z/OS reports is incomplete.      *
  *                      5. Coupling Facility and Service Class  *
  *                         views for Key Performance Metrics    *
  *                         for z/OS do not contain the          *
  *                         necessary data fields to produce     *
  *                         required Cognos reports.             *
  *                      6. In Cognos, the missing component and *
  *                         subcomponent error message is        *
  *                         displayed even if a single IMS       *
  *                         subcomponent is installed.           *

  *                         are not being applied to the data.   *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *

  1. The hourly filters only allow times to be input where the
     Hour From value is earlier than the Hour To.
  2. The checkbox filters are sorted by total usage and the Show
     Top filter applies to each time interval.
  3. The filter applied in the query uses greater than rather
     than greater than or equal to.
  4. Additional reports for Coupling Facilities and Service
     Classes are required.
  5. Additional SMF data fields for Coupling Facility and Service
     Class views are required.
  6. The logic for the component and subcomponent check when a
     report is opened requires modification so that only a single
     IMS subcomponent is required.
  7. The hourly filters are not being applied to the data.
  8. The report identification labels are not unique.
  

Problem conclusion

• 1. The value in the Hour From filter may be larger than the
     value in the Hour To filter, allowing for reporting of a
     batch window that crosses midnight.
  2. A toggle for sorting checkbox parameters is added to the
     report, allowing the user to sort by usage or alphabetically.
     The Show Top filter shows the top values over the entire date
     range.
  3. A channel is displayed if the maximum channel peak busy value
     is greater than or equal to the peak percentage entered by
     the user.
  4. New reports for Coupling Facilities and Service Classes are
     added to the Key Performance Metrics zOS suite.
  5. Additional SMF data fields for Coupling Facilities and
     Service Classes are added to KPMZ_CF_STRUCT_HV/TV and
     KPMZ_WORKLOAD_HV/TV.
  6. The component and subcomponent check for KPM IMS and CP IMS
     reports now verifies that one of the required IMS
     subcomponents is installed.
  7. Data is only shown in the report when it falls between the
     values entered in the Hour From & Hour To filters.
  8. Report identification labels are now unique.
