Error description

• On Gateway node shutdown, Gateway node forcefully returns EIO to
  the application node which is promptly passing on to the
  application triggering the Read operation.

• On Gateway node shutdown, Gateway node forcefully returns EIO to
  the application node which is promptly passing on to the
  application triggering the Read operation.
  

Problem conclusion

• This problem is fixed in 5.2.2.1

  Benefits of the solution:
  App node doesn't see Gateway node failure/failover happening in
  the background and Read requests are continuously served.
  
  Work Around:
  None
  
  Problem trigger:
  Trigger Read on large 2GB file from app node and when read is in
  progress, mmshutdown the Gateway node..
  
  Symptom:
  IO Error
