Download Policy

Software Download Policy.  

Downloads must be :
  1. made by Licensee in accordance with and during an active support term 
  2.  installed and executed by Licensee within 90 days of download

Downloads must be installed and executed on the same system as the base licensed Program. Licensee may make a back-up copy of  installed and executed downloads only on Licensee's own system under Licensee's control.  The downloads may not be used to create repositories for future Use. 

Licensee may download up to 25 downloads per day.  If it is necessary to download beyond the stated limit, please contact the Exception Handling Team - fixexp@us.ibm.com.

 Licensee may authorize a third party to download and install from this site for Licensee’s use, solely in accordance with these restrictions. Licensee remains responsible for all actions of authorized representatives. Licensee is responsible for having a written agreement authorizing the third party, including terms that the third party agrees to comply with all download and installation restrictions.  Licensee will provide IBM a copy of such authorization and terms upon request.   

 If you are downloading or installing on behalf of a Licensee, you may only do so in compliance with the above restrictions.  IBM does not grant you any rights or licenses. 

Any copying, reproduction, distribution, storage, or installation of downloads other than as expressly authorized by IBM is prohibited. 

 

 Machine Code Download Policy.  

 
Downloads :
  1. may be requested only by the Machine Code Licensee ("Licensee") for a Machine for which the Licensee is the owner or lessee in possession and for which the Machine Code update is specifically designated ("Target Machine");
  2. must be made during and in accordance with the IBM hardware warranty or IBM maintenance agreement applicable to the Target Machine, or a separate written agreement between the Licensee and IBM specific to Machine Code updates for the Target Machines; and
  3. must be installed and executed only on the designated Target Machine and within 90 days of download.
Downloads of Machine Code updates are limited to 25 per day. If it is necessary to download beyond the stated limit, please contact the Fix Central Exception Handling Team - fixexp@us.ibm.com.
 
Machine Code updates may not be copied, reproduced or distributed and may not be installed on any other machine. Machine Code Updates may not be downloaded to create repositories for future use.
