Encountering blank or junk characters in CSV output file when running an ITX map

Troubleshooting

Problem

The IBM Sterling Transformation Extender (ITX) Map completes successfully but produces blank or some junk characters in CSV output file.

Symptom

When the CSV output file is opened using MS Excel, the fields are either showing blank or some junk characters.

However, the same CSV file when opened using notepad++, shows correct Chinese characters in UTF-8 encoding.
