IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation: Pods Failing After Upgrade from 21.0.3 IFX 24 to 21.0.3 IFX 32

Troubleshooting


Problem

After upgrading IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation from version 21.0.3 IFX 24 to version 21.0.3 IFX 32, FileNet, Navigator, and Zen pods may fail to start properly.

Symptom

- FileNet, Navigator, and Zen pods are in a failed state after the upgrade.
- Readiness probes fail for the CPE service.
- Users encounter "Error 502 - Bad Gateway" and "Application Not Available" when accessing certain URLs.
- The following error message appears in the logs:
  CWPKI0033E: The keystore located at /opt/ibm/wlp/usr/servers/defaultServer/resources/security/ibm_customFNCMTrustStore.p12 did not load because of the following error: Integrity check failed: java.security.NoSuchAlgorithmException: no such algorithm: HmacPBESHA256 for provider IBMJCE
