Abstract

This page covers the IBM webMethods software lifecycle of all versions prior to the IBM webMethods 11.1 product version.

IBM webMethods provides a broad collection of capabilities, including application and B2B integration, API management, managed file transfer, building micro-services, high-speed messaging, and process automation through its suite of products:

• IBM webMethods Integration
• IBM webMethods API Management
• IBM webMethods B2B
• IBM webMethods Managed File Transfer
• IBM webMethods BPM
No extended support is available on releases prior to webMethods software release version 10.5.
Note that in the ongoing extended support period, cases where underlying or embedded third party vendor specific products (including but not limited to JVMs, applications, operating systems, frameworks, utility libraries and databases, for example) are no longer actively supported by their respective vendors, IBM's support will be limited to commercially reasonable efforts to resolve Customer issues and answer Customer queries.
Also excluded from the extended support are fixes for third party software like Elasticsearch (CEL) and Kibana, which are packaged along with API Gateway.
The extended support agreement will support webMethods software on OS/Databases that were officially supported for that version of webMethods products at the time of the release of that software as listed in the documentation. 
 
All IBM webMethods product versions will follow the IBM support lifecycle outlined in the IBM announcement for the release. Information on IBM Support Product Lifecycle can be found here
The IBM webMethods software support lifecycle listed on this page does not include EntireX or ApplinX. If you are using these products, and need extended support, please reach out to the Product Manager (PM) at Gadi.Benedek@ibm.com to discuss options for Extended Maintenance.
