• The following error is encountered:
  "The code of method
  _jspService(HttpServletRequest,
  HttpServletResponse) is exceeding the 65535 bytes limit"

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The _jspService method exceeds the      *

  The number of bytes used when compiling the _jspService method
  exceeds the predefined maximum (set by the Java
  specification).  This causes the JSP to fail to compile.
  The following message will be reported:
  The code of method _jspService(HttpServletRequest,
  HttpServletResponse) is exceeding the 65535 bytes limit
  This error is a side effect of PH49514 (included in 9.0.5.19
  and 23.0.0.10) which addressed a memory leak. Some large JSPs,
  which are already near 65k bytes, may exceed that limit with
  this regressing APAR.
  The JSP engine was been updated to reduce the size of the
  _jspService method without affecting behavior.
  

Problem conclusion

• The fix for this APAR is targeted for version 9.0.5.24 and
  25.0.0.1.
