Error description

• After upgrading to CPSM 6.2, you are unable to change the Purge
  Threshold of TRANCLASSes in CICS regions running versions of
  CICS prior to 6.2 via the WUI interface.  CICS regions running
  version 6.2 are unaffected.

  *                      attribute views within the WUI.         *

  The WUI queries the CMAS region it is connected to, to get
  the attributes for resources it has been requested to retrieve.
  This returns an ATTR resource table for each resource attribute.
  The ATTR table contains validity information showing whether the
  field is valid for INQUIRE and SET actions (VALCICSxxx and
  SETCICSxxx) at each known CICS release. This is populated from
  the MOS table. However a logic error can result in the
  ATTR_SETCICSES3 field returned in the ATTR record incorrectly
  indicating that an attribute is not valid for SET at a specific
  CICS release. This occurs when CICSSETAVAIL is set to N,
  resulting in EYU0MOFL retaining the SETCICSES3 value from the
  previous attribute alphabetically in a resource when no validity
  information exists for this attribute.
  
  This results in the WUI rendering the views for a resource with
  an attribute that is valid for SET, as read only, preventing the
  attribute being edited.
  

Problem conclusion

• Method MOFL (EYU0MOFL) has been updated to clear the
  ATTR_SETCICSES3 field in the ATTR resource table, in the case
  where CICSSETAVAIL=N indicating that no validity information is
  available.
