Troubleshooting
Problem
Applying ITM TEPS WAS/IHS patches built on WAS/IHS FP20 or higher to ITM with an SP level below SP13, the TEPS or InstallPresentation will hang or fail on AIX only.
Symptom
When configuring the TEPS on AIX, InstallPresentation hangs.
You will see a message like the following in logs/migrate.log with no later messages:
***** Waiting for initial detection of environment file /opt/IBM/ITM/aix536/cq/bin/migrate-env.sh
You will see a message like the following in logs/kfwjras1.log:
at com.ibm.TEPS.CTJVMDeployment.CTJVMController.main(CTJVMController.java:88)
Caused by: java.security.ProviderException: Failed to initialize IBMJCEPlus provider
