Abstract

This document provides information about installing the IBM Maximo Application Suite 9.1.0-pre.stable_8949 - Feature Channel December release version.

Important changes added to the Feature Channel:
  • Adds support for RedHat Openshift 4.16 version
  • Adds support for IBM CloudPak for Data 5.0 version
 Known issues fixed in the IBM Maximo Application Suite 9.1.0-pre.stable_8949 December Feature Channel release:
  • DT417683 - Push notification route not being recreated after certificate is renewed
  • DT417267 - When restoring MAS core from backup, Sender email address or Name (smtpcfg) is not restored from backup
  • DT406887 - User bulk import allows users to be registered even if user's display name is empty
  • DT400987 - When importing users, value set for authorizedUser column not being fulfilled if value for admin entitlement_admin field is NONE
  • DT398765 - Emails are not sent when templateMode is User in SmtpCfg CR and the user does not have language set
  • DT397993 - Unable to use SAML authentication with a Reverse Proxy
  • DT397507 - Installing MongoDB authentication for MAS using LDAP authentication when not using Ansible DevOps collection
  • DT397230 - UI should not allow Self-service authorized users
  • DT396875 - Errors noticed in groupsync-coordinator pod log: groupsync entered FATAL state, too many start retries too quickly
  • DT395649 - After setting allowSpecialChars in MAS instance spec, it does not have an immediate effect. As a consequence, when trying to create userid with special chars, get error "AIUCO1017E"

Steps for installing 9.1.0-pre.stable_8949
 
   The installation of IBM Maximo Application Suite 9.1.0-pre.stable_8949 Feature Channel is done via channel subscription. See the Installing Maximo Application Suite page for directions.

Note:
   Be aware, this channel subscription is supported for non-production use only. It allows early access to new features for evaluation in non-production environments. This subscription is offered alongside and in parallel with our normal maintained streams. When using this subscription, IBM Support will only accept cases for the latest available bundle deployed in a non-production environment. Severity must be either 3 or 4 and cases cannot be escalated. Please refer to IBM documentation for more details.
