APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• For encryption of VSAM files with zDMF, there are some CI sizes
  that cannot be processed if CIs can cross a cylinder boundary.
  These are excluded, and an error message GZD4104E is issued.
  
  However, this restriction does not apply to logical copy
  processing, and such datasets should be processed without any
  error message.

  zDMF does not check if this is a Logical Copy migration before
  issuing the error message stopping the group.
  

Problem conclusion

• zDMF will now check if Logical Copy is being used for this
  migration and will bypass the test for this condition.
