APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • An upgrade function (10007) fails to run if the captcha module
has been disabled. Needs a check to make sure the module is
enabled before running the code.

Error in www admin pod logs:
Failed: The captcha_point entity type does not exist. [

Local fix

  • re-enable the module for upgrade then disable it afterwards.

Problem summary

  • If you had the captcha module disabled in the Developer Portal
it would fail an upgrade function due to it trying to process
data from it.

Problem conclusion

  • Upgrade function now checks if the captcha module is enabled
first. Fixed in the next v10.0.8 release of API Connect
