APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The field - "X-IBM-Client-Secret" is NOT being masked/hidden if
the name of this field is customised in the "Try it" section in
the Explorer. If the name includes "secret" it, according to
documentation, should be hidden.

Local fix

  • Need to specify the "X-IBM-Client-Secret" as the name of
client_secret

Problem summary

  • The field - "X-IBM-Client-Secret" is NOT being obfuscated if the
name of this field is customised in the "Try it" section in the
Explorer. If the name includes "secret" it, according to
documentation, should be hidden.  Also, if the header value was
of x-key-type "client_secret", then this value was not
obfuscated in the "Try it" section.

Problem conclusion

  • This is now fixed in 10.0.5.8 and 10.0.8.1
