PH63185: FFDCS ARE NOW OCCURRING WITH WEBCONTAINER EXCEPTIONS AS OF 24.0.0.9.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Webcontainer exceptions are emitted with FFDCS as of 24.0.0.9 wi
  undesired.
  This was introduced with HTTP stats/metrics as the servlet filte
  FFDC.
  Previously,  existing servlet filters, they do not catch and ret
  creating an FFDC.

  When running monitor-1.0 with any  features that run on top of
  the
  web container that are built on top of the servlet engine(e.g.,
  servlet, restfulWS, etc). There are duplicate or new FFDCs not
  seen in previous releases.
  The FFDCs are thrown by
  io.openliberty.http.monitor.ServletFilter
  

Problem conclusion

• FFDCs will no longer be thrown by the
  io.openliberty.http.monitor.ServletFilter
  
  The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
