Error description

  • In Storage Insights, when a user renames a Fabric or
Chassis with a custom name, it reverts to the original
name once the probe has completed. This also applies
to the text on the alert policy panel.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Navigate to Resources > Fabrics and select a fabric.
    Right-click and choose View Properties.
    2. Click the Edit button.
    3. Change the Name field to a custom name and click the
    Save button.
    4. Go to Resources > Switches, then to Chassis.
    5. Select the chassis and restart data collection.
    6. Once the probes are complete, check the custom fabric
name, and you'll notice that it has changed.
