Error description
When viewing the WUI MAS view (EYUSTARTMAS), several xxxSEV fields may display as NO. When you set CSYSDEF to "NO" for the xxxSEV fields, CPSM will propagate this over to the relevant MAS fields. Internally, this works fine but CPSM then present these values out through the CICSPlex SM API even though they are not properly declared in the resource table. This is a problem for the GraphQL API as that requires a far stricter model than the native CPSM API.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CICSPlex SM Users. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Error seen when fetching MAS records * * over CICSPlex SM GraphQL interface: * * Exception while fetching data * * (/cicsplex/cpsmManagers/mas/records * * [0]/samsev) : * * Unexpected value detected in output * * for MAS.SAMSEV" * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Restart all WUI server regions to apply * * this fix. * **************************************************************** In CICSPlex SM, a CICS System Definition (CSYSDEF) supports several fields which control the severity for SAM monitoring events. These fields are: SAMSEV, SOSSEV, SDMSEV, TDMSEV, MXTSEV, STLSEV, NRMSEV. These fields can be set to "NO" to exclude the condition from monitoring. The value chosen will also be set on the MAS record. This is the operational record representing this definition. On the MAS resource table, "NO" was not declared as one of the enumerated values for these fields. When fetching the MAS record using the CICSPlex SM GraphQL interface, if one of these fields had the value "NO", then GraphQL returned an error: Exception while fetching data (/cicsplex/cpsmManagers/mas/records[0]/samsev) : Unexpected value detected in output for MAS.SAMSEV"
Problem conclusion
The enumerations for the event severity fields have been corrected. A corresponding update has been made to the WUI Field Level Help for these fields, and the corresponding ACTION fields: SAMACTION, SOSACTION, SDMACTION, TDMACTION, MXTACTION, STLACTION, NRMACTION.
