Rule Designer requires WebView2 to run on Windows Server 2022

Troubleshooting


Problem

When you install IBM Operational Decision Manager 9.0.0 on Microsoft Windows Server 2022, you cannot create ruleflows and decision tables in their default editors in Rule Designer.

Symptom

After installing Operational Decision Manager 9.0.0 on Windows Server 2022, you encounter problems with the following editors in Rule Designer:
  • Default ruleflow editor: You cannot create ruleflows.
  • Default decision table editor: You cannot create decision tables.
