Error description

• The batch update of the system tables is not returning errors,
  nor displaying the output in the correct format.

  *                      3. SQLCODE = -803 when updating system  *
  *                      tables.                                 *
  *                      4. The batch update of system tables    *
  *                      fails on the REMPOP function.           *
  *                      5. The output from a batch update is    *
  *                      not formatted to highlight errors.      *
  *                      6. The DYNAMNBR value in DRLJCSTB       *
  *                      is not high enough for future           *
  *                      requirements.                           *

  1. The space allocation for userid.DRLOUT is insufficient.
  2. The creation/update of system tables always displays a
  successful completion message, even if there are errors.
  3. SQLCODE = -803 when updating system tables.
  4. The batch update of system tables fails on the REMPOP
  function.
  5. The output from a batch system table update is not formatted
  to highlight errors.
  6. The DYNAMNBR value in DRLJCSTB is not high enough for future
  needs.
  

Problem conclusion

• 1. userid.DRLOUT is allocated with more space.
  2. Error code checking is updated to display the correct
  message if any errors occur.
  3. SQLCODE = -803 are ignored when updating reports.
  4. A check is added to determine if the update is done by batch
  or online.
  5. DRLOUT is formatted to highlight errors.
  6. The DYNAMNBR value is increased to 120.
