APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The English (united states) locale isn't used on the analytics
page, and it defaults to whatever language shows up next. This
only happens on the analytics page, but not for the English
locale.

Local fix

  • Edit browser local and set preferred local language to top of
list

Problem summary

  • Users accessing the Analytics UI in API Manager with browser
language preferences set to combinations such as English (United
States) followed by French would see the UI in French instead of
the expected English.
The browser language detection code had an issue which has now
been fixed to correctly detect "English (United States)" as
"English" instead of skipping it.

Problem conclusion

  • Fix targeted at 10.0.5.8 and 10.0.8.1
