Preventive Service Planning
Abstract
With APAR PJ46301, function loss might occur in guaranteed delivery for JVM processing after a JAM stops or is recycled. Apply APAR PJ48084 to resolve this issue.
Content
With APAR PJ46301 applied, the JVM no longer interrupts each thread before stopping, and drives the process through abnormal thread termination to shut down. This processing can leave one or more threads in a potentially dangerous or inconsistent state, and can lead to issues with system services such as IBM MQ.
For more information, see the PJ48084 APEDIT.
