API Connect API's with Path parameter might see behavior change after DataPower fix pack 10.5.0.10

Troubleshooting

Problem

Users who use an API with Path Paramerter might face issues with calling their API's after upgrading to DataPower fix pack 10.5.0.10.  This is because DataPower 10.5.0.10 enforces changes related to Pattern verification.

Symptom

If you have  misconfigured the regular expression for the pattern incorrectly you might see 404 errors on their API calls that contain a Path parameter.
The logs on DataPower show a symptom like the following:
[0x80c00009][multistep][error] apigw(apiconnect): tid(12658)[request][NN.N.N.NN] gtid(c788ffd266c5dcf900003172): request default-assembly-rule-global #1 api-routing: Performed the API routing action. failed: Cannot identify any API target when performing the API Routing action
