APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When users try to paste quite a long text into an editor screen
  (example: CICS or ISPF editor), sometimes a lot of the text were
  not getting pasted, even though it pastes fine into other
  windows applications (example: Word).
  
  The words were getting broken up to the right border, and some
  words were "put together" (like the supposed spaces were getting
  removed). And this issue seems to happen at random.
  
  They discovered that with the DOCMODE setting activated, they
  cannot paste the long texts containing blank lines, and that
  only the text above the blank line are getting pasted.

  When pasting long text into ISPF editor, some of the words are
  getting copied to the next line and some letters in the words
  are truncated or losing spaces before the next word.
  

Problem conclusion

• PCSEDIT.DLL has been changed to handle the Copy/Paste of long
  text when DOCMODE keyword is enabled.
