Problem
The Connection password property and its password CLI equivalent is removed from the SQL data source object in 10.5.0.13 and 10.6.0.1.
When an SQL data source defines only the password and not a password alias, the import or upgrade action that contains this configuration fails and reports error message 0x8100043e with the text The SQL connection requires a password alias and the SQL data source is not configured.
Symptom
The import or export action fails with an error that is related to the missing but required password alias.
- On import, the error message is reported during processing.
- On upgrade, the error message is written to the system logs.
