PM48641: CHANGE IN DATE DATATYPE HANDLING IN DM 10 FOR ORACLE

Error description

• Customer has a source column of DATE in oracle - generates a
  build to transfer this column to an Oracle target. In the
  datastream they set the filed typ to DATE. The DDL and target
  table are generated with the datatype of TIMESTAMP. If the
  datasource field datatype is left to default then DM generates
  the target filed as DATE - same as the source. This was not the
  case in previous versions - setting the datasource datatype to
  DATE would generate a DATE target field. Is this change design
  intent? If so - why has this change been made?
