Error description

  • The following message can appear frequently from any thread
    <yyy> in the IBM Storage Protect Server first failure data
    capture (FFDC) log (dsmffdc.log) located by default in the
    instance user directory:
    [xx-xx-xxx xx:xx:xxx.xxx][ FFDC_GENERAL_SERVER_ERROR ]:
    [yyy](imrepl.c:19123) Column 88 in table ReplHist_View is NULL.
    
    
    The output of the "show threads" command indicates thread <yyy>
    is from the servermon process:
    Thread yyy, Parent 1: ServerMonTenMinThread, Storage 0, AllocCnt
    -xxx HighWaterAmt xxx
    
    
    The "Column 88 in table ReplHist_View is NULL" messages are
    triggered with the server command "query replication" when node
    replication is not processing any data of type "backup" but for
    example archive data (example command: replicate node *
    datatype=archive).
    
    This happens starting with IBM Storage Protect server 8.1.15
    when the Open Snap Store Manager (OSSM) feature was introduced
    for which column 88 was added in the Db2 ReplHist_View.
