Abstract

With APAR PJ47252, function loss might occur in guaranteed delivery for JVM processing after a JAM recycle occurs. Apply APAR PJ48060 to resolve the issue.

With APAR PJ47252 applied, IBM MQ worker threads in guaranteed delivery for JVM processing might exit prematurely after a JAM recycle occurs. As a result, message deliveries can stop and queues can build up. To prevent the function loss until APAR PJ48060 is applied, you can enter the ZJAMC STOP and ZJAMC START commands to manually stop and restart the JAM. 

This issue applies only to clients that use JAM support. Apply both APAR PJ47252 and APAR PJ48060 to resolve this issue.
