VMware WireGuard VPN Access

This feature can not be enabled after the reservation has been created. It must be done while reserving the instance.

The WireGuard VPN tunnel allows users to access their VMs in an isolated environment network.image image

  1. Enable VPN Access in the reservation form

  1. Once the reservation has been completed, verify that Public VPN Endpoint is enabled, and download its Wireguard VPN config file

  1. Download and install the WireGuard VPN client on your local machine. See https://www.wireguard.com/install/ for its various OS instructions
  2. Launch the client. Import your downloaded VPN config file

  1. Activate connection

  1. Once the VPN connection has been activated, verify its status VPN
  2. Open your terminal and ping the VPN gateway 192.168.253.1 to test its connection

The VPN connection is established.

For multiple users, please make sure each person is using their own tunnel or only one person is using it at a time.
