Error description
When the Optim EXPORT function is called to Export a large Access Definition with several subordinate objects (like, Sequential Files and/or VSAM files), there is a possibility of Dynalloc Error handler routine (IEFDB476) being loaded multiple times, causing the following error message in z/OS System log. CSV001I REQUESTS FOR MODULE IEFDB476 EXCEED MAXIMUM LOAD COUNT

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All Optim users performing an EXPORT of * * large Access Definitions with several * * subordinate objects, either in online or * * batch mode. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When the Optim EXPORT function is * * called to Export a large Access * * Definition with several subordinate * * objects (like,Sequential Files and/or * * VSAM files), there is a possibility * * of Dynalloc Error handler routine * * (IEFDB476) being loaded multiple * * times, causing the following error * * message in z/OS System log. * * CSV001I REQUESTS FOR MODULE IEFDB476 * * EXCEED MAXIMUM LOAD COUNT * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided fix * **************************************************************** Optim incorrectly attempts to load IEFDB476 without checking whether it is already loaded in LPA. When there is a need to EXPORT large ADs with several subordinate objects, and there is a failure to locate the Datasets (Sequential or VSAM) referred by the Legacy Tables in the AD, Optim tries to load the Dynalloc Error handler repeatedly for each failing dataset.
Problem conclusion
Optim processing has been corrected to use IEFDB476 and IKJEFF18 if those modules are already available in LPA.
