IBM Datacap watsonx.ai Integration is a separate installer on a Datacap-9.1.9-ifix-005 Datacap system. Once installed, the watsonx.ai action library enables a Datacap application to submit questions, via an AI prompt, to the watsonx.ai service. IBM Datacap Version 9.1.9, interim fix 005
Important Notes prior to installation
- If a previous version of Watsonx.AI integration was installed on the Datacap system, it is not required to uninstall it prior to installing this version.
- If there is an existing copy of the Watsonx.ai application in \Datacap folder, make sure to make a copy of this application to a temp folder if it is required to retain any changes such as the API key and ProjectID.
- Review the watsonx.ai action library help, in Datacap Studio for information on calling the actions under this library.
Install instructions
1. Close all Datacap applications.
2. Run the Setup.exe as an administrator to the Datacap system.
