Save and reconfigure Datacap Server manager settings and Datacap services running under Services window after the ifix installation
In order to prevent losing the previously configured settings in the authentication system, batch naming template etc., in the Datacap tab under the Datacap Server Manager Advanced Setting section, it is recommended to back up any and all registry settings stored in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Datacap folder prior to installing any ifix on the Datacap system. After the installation of an ifix, check all tuning and configuration of items that may have been removed or reverted.
Reconfigure the settings of executable Datacap applications such as Datacap AppDeploy Service, Datacap Health Monitoring Service, and Datacap Windows Service, under the Services window. For example, if configured as Automatic prior to installing an ifix then they are known to be switched from Automatic to Manual. Therefore, ensure to configure them back to Automatic after the ifix installation.
