Abstract
This fix pack is a cumulative fix release and addresses some new APARs/Known issues and internally found issues since the release of IBM Jazz for Service Management (JazzSM) v1.1.3.
Prerequisites
This Fix Pack requires IBM Jazz for Service Management (JazzSM) v1.1.3 GA or any greater version GA release
B.1 IBM Installation Manager
------------------------------------
------------------------------------
IBM Installation Manager is used to install, uninstall, update, and modify the JazzSM offering.
B.2 IBM WebSphere Application Server
-----------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------
IBM WebSphere Application Server is required by Jazz for Service Management. Refer to Jazz for Service Management release notes for details of supported versions.
IBM WebSphere SDK Java Technology Edition package is available from WebSphere Application Server and must be installed through Installation Manager pointing "Install" or "Update" option. The IBM WebSphere SDK Java version must be supported by the WebSphere Application Server. Refer to WebSphere Application Server release notes for details of supported versions.

Installation Instructions
The installation of this fix pack is allowed on DASH 3.1.3 (Or CP1 to CP7) or DASH 3.1.3 fixpack1 to fixpack21 or DASH 3.1.3.1 CP1 or DASH 3.1.3.5 CP1 or DASH 3.1.3.6 iFix01
The installation of this patch will back up all patched files before updating them.
The installation of this patch will back up all patched files before updating them.
Important Notes:
1)Go through <PartNumber/FixpackName>.zip/CodeSign_README.txt to verify CodeSigning of a file
2)Please ensure to have below required free space available to upgrade DASH 3.1.3.22
Unix:
<JazzSM Location> = 7GB
<temp location> = 1GB
Windows:
<JazzSM Location> = 8GB
3) This fix pack may overwrite any previously applied test patches. If having any test patches, confirm that they are included in the fix pack before applying.
4) You must run the fix pack as the same user who installed the Jazz for Service Management Base version.
5) If using a High Availability cluster, be sure to apply the patch on all nodes.
6) Ensure to take backup of all IIM folders, WebSphere,JazzSM and JazzSM Profile (in case profile folder created out of JazzSM directory) directories before installing DASH 3.1.3.22 fix pack
Ex: Take the backup of below paths
JazzSM Home: /opt/IBM/JazzSM
WebSphere Home: /opt/IBM/WebSphere/AppServer
JazzSM Profile Home: /opt/IBM/JazzSM/profile
IIM Data Home: /var/ibm/InstallationManager
IIM Home: /opt/IBM/InstallationManager
IIM Shared Home: /opt/IBM/IBMIMShared
7) Limitation with TBSM Datasets : Some times, DASH page having Topology and TreeTable widgets pointing to TBSM dataset couldn't save user preferences and wiring throws exceptions on TBSM dataset. But this can be fixed by removing or deleting Topology widget and followed by save and exit the Page. Use a new topology widget with the same old dataset and other widget configurations as before.

To apply DASH v3.1.3.22:
1)Mandatory to set JazzSM profile to use Java 1.8 if not already set
If Java 1.8 is not installed, install through IBM Installation Manager by pointing to WAS installation files repository
ex: Go to WAS installed path and then bin directory (Below are only the examples, please provide proper sdkName)
./managesdk.sh -setCommandDefault -sdkName 1.8_64
./managesdk.sh -setNewProfileDefault -sdkName 1.8_64
./managesdk.sh -enableProfile -profileName JazzSMProfile -sdkname 1.8_64 (Execute this step if profile already installed)
2) Download 1.1.3-TIV-JazzSM-multi-FP022.codesigned.zip from IBM Fixcentral
3) Create a temporary folder (e.g. /tmp/fixpack or C:\fixpack) and unzip the fix pack zip into it.
4) unzip 1.1.3-TIV-JazzSM-multi-FP022.zip in the same fixpack folder
4) Open IBM Installation Manager (IIM) and follow installation process to upgrade DASH to v3.1.3.22
5) After successful upgrade, open command prompt and go to <JazzSM installed path>/ui/bin and run "consolecli.sh/bat Version" and confirm below output shows
./consolecli.sh Version
Dashboard Application Services Hub version: 3.1.3.22-202405301024
Note: 1. Upgrade also can be done using silent response files (/tmp/fixpack/responsefiles)
2. Recommendation is not to use DASH v3.1.3.22 rollback to previous version. Instead, follow uninstall of DASH 3.1.3.22 and install DASH 3.1.3.* version.

Problems Solved
Issues addressed in IBM Jazz for Service Management v3.1.3 Fixpack22:
DT389571: Sensitive information exposed through error Message and avoid using printStackTrace()
DT271954: xlaunch unable to decrypt encoded and encrypted text instead throwing eror like "javax.crypto.IllegalBlockSizeException: Message must be a multiple of the block size without padding"
DT269357: consolecli utility with "ExportView" option fails with an "Error 500" and throwing NullPointerException
DT389574: Certified and updated "IBM Installation Manager" version to 1.9.2.7
DT389576: HTTP Parameter Pollution: The web application is vulnerable to Parameter Pollution vulnerability, where an attacker can manipulates the parameters of an HTTP request by injecting additional or modified values.
DT389578: weak encryption algorithm that cannot guarantee the confidentiality of sensitive data. Old encryption algorithms such as DES no longer provide sufficient protection for use with sensitive data.
DT389581: Applications return passwords submitted in cleartext form in later responses. This
behaviour increases the risk of user's passwords captured by an attacker
DT389585: The web application is vulnerable to Parameter Pollution vulnerability, where an attacker
can manipulates the parameters of an HTTP request by injecting additional or modified
values.
DT389586: Stored cross -site scripting occurs when a web application gathers input from a user which might be malicious, and then stores that input in a data store for later use
DT389588: CVE-2024-22371, Apache camel-core-3.2.0.jar could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by a flaw in the EventFactory class. By crafting a malicious EventFactory and providing a custom ExchangeCreatedEvent
DT389591: The server software version used by the application is revealed in the application
response headers.
DT389598: Connections page: Change of default padding between lines when selecting to "IBM Design" Theme
