PH61763: QR TCB Loops following 0C1 abend in DFHDSDS4.

APAR status

Error description

• QR TCB loops following an 0C1 abend in DFHDSDS4. After a CICS
  transaction is purged whilst in DFHPISN it enters CICS code
  running abterm allowed.
  A second purge of the transaction drives purge processing code
  in DFHDSDS4 which takes the 0C1 abend.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Abend 0C1 in DFHDSDS4.                  *
  ****************************************************************
  A task makes an outbound web service call. While DFHPISN is in
  control the task suspends on the SMLOCK. The task gets purged
  (NORMAL_CANCEL) but this suspend is not purgeable so a deferred
  abend is set instead. DFHPISN sets the task state to
  abterm_allowed before returning to its caller (DFHPISN1).
  DFHPISN1 would have eventually reset the task state to
  abterm_not_allowed. Due to the deferred abend control passes to
  DFHKEEDA instead. The abend is handled but the task continues
  invalidly running abterm_allowed.
  The task gets purged a second time (FORCE_CANCEL). During purge
  processing DFHDSDS4 detects the abterm_allowed state and causes
  the 0C1 abend.  The CICS region may become unresponsive due to
  the QR TCB being compromised.
