  This fix addresses the following Persona-based UI APARs.

  DT381949	The ArrayList "com.ibm.rs.job.bean.FailureJobDivision" has a memory leak which causes the App Server shut down.
  DT386325	Changing the StorageClass on an existing Red Hat® OpenShift® deployment was not reflecting even after deleting the Persistent Volume Claim (PVC).

    • Hardware and software compatibility links:

    • OpenShift® container platform - 4.8.x
    • Update configuration parameters in the env_settings.ini file. For more information, see Configuring Persona-based UI parameters.
    • If there are any customizations, back up the Login.wpcs script as the Login.wpcs has been updated and gets overwritten when the migration script is run.
    • Starting from IBM™ Product Master Version 12.0 Fix Pack 5 Interim Fix 1, if you are using an older Custom Angular component library, you need to rebuild and replace Custom library JavaScript (JS) files. For more information, see steps 8 to 10 in the Upgrading the existing custom sample library.
    • Starting from IBM® Product Master Fix Pack 9 onwards, you need to take a backup of Angular customization JSON files.
  • Installation
    See Upgrading. For the operator-based deployment, see Installing by using containerized deployment.
  • Postinstallation instructions
    • You need to import the latest mdmce-env.zip, vendorportal.zip, and dammodel.zip files to get the latest artifacts.
    • If you run the configureEnv.sh script with no overwrite option, the existing mdmce-roles.json file gets retained and needs manual merge. But if you run the configureEnv.sh script with an overwrite option,
      • A backup of the existing mdmce-roles.json file gets created.
      • The new mdmce-roles.json file gets created from its default file.
    • Entries of the Completeness Lookup Table need to be saved after the mdmce-env.zip file import.
    • The mongodb_username and mongodb_password properties in the env_settings.ini file are used for both Digital Assets Management and Machine learning.
    • You need to re-run the SDP scripts for the respective catalogs. For more information, see Configuring SDP for a catalog.
    • Starting from IBM® Product Master Fix Pack 9 onwards, you need to use the Lookup tables listed in the Lookup tables -Angular custom component section under the Properties section in this release notes instead of the JSON files to add the Angular custom components.
      For existing Angular customization, you need to migrate the data from the JSON files to the system-based Lookup tables. For more information, see Using custom Angular scripts to add custom component.
  • Modifying the database schema
    Database schema migration is not required.

    • Docstore-related error - Rerun the migrateToInstalledFP.sh migration script.
    • GDS feature - Perform database schema migration.
  • Uninstallation instructions

    Delete the $TOP folder and reinstall the IBM Product Master 12.0.

• Known problems and limitations

  The following limitations are only applicable to the Persona-based UI.

  • Translation
    • A few screens, such as the Password screen and Report names on the Dashboard menu, do not display title or button text in the locale-specific language. This translation issue will be resolved in the future release.
  • Microsoft™ Edge and Mozilla Firefox browser
    • The horizontal scrolling on the grids is not smooth.
  • Lookup table
    • The horizontal scrollbar is not visible when there are no entries and if having more than 5 to 7 attributes.
  • Traditional search
    • String length operators only work for String and String enumeration type attributes.
    • The sequence attribute is not supported in a multi-occurrence format.
    • Password is in an encrypted form, and hence cannot be searched.
    • You cannot search images, binary files, or thumbnails.
    • Membership operators (In and Not In) and Length operators (Greater Than and Less Than) -
      • Support only a single hierarchy.
      • Functional only for indexed attributes.
      • Currently, they cannot work in combination with each other.
      • Membership operators (Scope All)and Length operators work only in combination with the Contains operator. Currently, no other combination is supported.
    • Membership operators currently do not support Date and Time zone attributes.
  • Error panel
    • When an error is clicked, the attribute focus color is Blue instead of Red.
  • Display as a drop-down list (Lookup)
    • Supported in the grid view for the grouping type attribute.
    • Not supported in the existing multi-edit collaboration grid.
  • View as table
    • Intermediate delete of occurrences is not supported for all types of attributes in the single-edit page if it has view as table property set. This issue is going to be resolved in the next release.
  • SAML SSO
    • The score value is not getting updated when the Automated Flag is set as True for the SAML SSO.
  • Multi-edit page - Path column
    • The path for a category in the Path column may contain some junk characters like E-Cart-Hierarchy104.
  • Lookup attribute
    • When an error occurs, the Lookup attribute is not highlighted on the Data explorer page and the single-edit page of the collaboration area.
  • Multi-occurring string attribute
    • No validation error is thrown for the multi-occurring string attribute if a rule is applied for a specific character (Mozilla Firefox).
  • Personalize home page
    • Tooltip is not present for widget options on the Personalize home page pop-up window.
