Creating a JKS keystore from the Java servers certificates

Question

How can the message bus probes JKS keystore be created from the Kafka servers certificate files?
For example the kcat command can connect to the server using these settings.
File : KCAT.conf
ssl.ca.location=/opt/netcool/omnibus/probes/linux2x86/nokia_altiplano/ca-cert.pem
ssl.certificate.location=/opt/netcool/omnibus/probes/linux2x86/nokia_altiplano/server-cert.pem
ssl.key.location=/opt/netcool/omnibus/probes/linux2x86/nokia_altiplano/server-key.pem
