Integrated Lights Out 5 (iLO5) Log The Integrated Lights-Out log (ILO log) contains management information about the machine (eg access to ILO, power on / down, machine reset etc).
The goal of this topic is to show how to collect the iLO logs via iLO5 on Proliant Servers and Blades Gen 10.
Steps
Capturing the iLO5 Event log
The only way to collect the ILO Event log, is by connecting to the ILO network interface.
Logon to the ILO management network port using a web browser (eg https://1.1.2.3). The Userid
and Password are needed. If they aren't available, you can bypass the logon screen disabling the ILO
security override switch, which is present on all Servers and Blades (see maintenance guide for more
details). Machines can have a dedicated or shared management network port.

In the information page select “iLO Event Log”
Select “CSV” icon.
Select “SAVE”.
Select “OK” and save EventLog csv file.
