  • Ensure that the dentry type and inode type are in sync.

ááá Fix for:  metadata corruption on one node
ááá
áThe issue happens because d_can_lookup()
 call fails for the dentry in
áquestion. As seen from the dentry flags the dentry
 type is flagged as a normal file while the inode shows
 that it is directory.  This change patches the gpfs
 with a failsafe piece of code that detects
áthis state, drops the dentry and causes a lookup
 to happen again.

visible. Cannot cd into directory on one node.
