HACP Extended Edition (HACP EE) v4.1 is developed with additional features that enhance the user experience.
The new and enhanced features are listed below:

Web-Based Deployment Wizard:
The web-based Deployment Wizard (DW) is a component of the web-based admin console from HACP EE v4.1 where users can create multiple sessions (3270,5250, FTP, VT, CICS,3270 Printer and 5250 Printer sessions) using the web page. Users can create Configuration-based, HTML-based, and Combined-based models using Host On-Demand and HACP EE.
Printer Icon:
In this release, Printer Icon is provided for the following support.
- Users can handle the host file printing and the session properties similar to Host On-Demand.
- Config Server-based model users can edit the properties and values reflected from server to client and vice versa.
Note: For an HTML-based model printer, session properties and values will be stored in the local cache.
FTP and VT Services under Admin Console:
The user can Start, Stop, and Configure FTP and VT services from the admin console using HACP EE v4.1. Re-starting NCServiceManager from Host On-Demand will restart FTP and VT services, similar to other Host On-Demand services.
FTP Performance Improvements:
From this release, FTP will upload files as streams rather than buffers, enhancing the service's performance.
FTP Caching of the Delta Changes:
In the latest version of HACP EE, the FTP main screen data, i.e., "Sharing Tab," will be stored under the browser cache.
Host Code Page:
Additional supported host code pages are listed below.
- 277 Norway
- 1142 Norway Euro
- 500 Multilingual
- 1148 Multilingual euro
Note: The United States (037) code page is set by default in HACP EE if the non-supported code page is configured in the server.
Fixes for Internal Defects:
This release contains fixes for internal defects for improving the product quality.
- Deploy the given .ear file to the Application Server, along with the features.
- Access the HACP EE config-based, HTML-based, and combined-based model pages from any compatible browser except the IE browser.
